The following table shows the number of pupils in the two EREP model schools (Aleku and Gaba Arbi) and the number in the two independent kindergartens (Dembi Dollo and Kake) that use the EREP curriculum. (A third school, at Chanka, has since been added.) Data are for the first two years of operation, 2006-2007 and 2007-2008. The initial popularity in the first two years brought increased enrollments in the following years. As of 2010 the schools are in their fifth year of operation.
